• Familiarity with network security principles and related technologies (NAC, firewalls, proxy, etc.)
• Comprehensive knowledge of at least one Linux distribution
• Advanced understanding of data analytics and reporting
• Interest in learning Network Access Control (NAC) solutions (e.g., Forescout), firewalling/micro‑segmentation principles, and network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, DNS, etc.)
• Experience with MySQL and Redis is considered a plus
• Capability to work independently under time constraints and high workload pressure
• Exceptional communication, prioritization, and organization skills

Hello there, my name is Jan, and I'm the Manager of the Network Access Control team. I joined DHL IT Services in 2013, starting my career in a junior role within the Cyber Defense Center team. Eager for more hands‑on experience with network security devices, I made the transition to the team tasked with their maintenance and configuration. After three years, I earned a promotion to a regional manager position. Recently, I moved from the role of Operations Manager to become a new E2E Team Manager. In my current role, I'm building a team for the implementation of a comprehensive Network Access Control solution aimed at enhancing security and compliance for the DHL Group, all while ensuring seamless integration with existing business processes.
