Job description

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s enterprise-wide network infrastructure. This role involves planning and optimizing network architecture, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of core systems, and leading network-related projects. The candidate will also act as a technical mentor to junior engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to support business operations.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the establishment of network systems for new projects: Responsible for planning and designing the overall network architecture, including network product selection, performance testing, and review of technical drawings.

On-site implementation and technical support: Lead the deployment and implementation of on-site devices such as firewalls, switches, and WLAN in projects, coordinate with construction parties to solve technical problems, and provide professional technical guidance and solution support.

Network operation, maintenance and optimization: Fully responsible for daily monitoring, cutover and optimization of the company's backbone network and local area network. Possess the ability to independently identify and resolve complex network faults to ensure stable network operation.

Establishment and maintenance of operation and maintenance platforms: Build and maintain network monitoring platforms (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana), configuration backup platforms, and log management systems.

Risk control and continuous optimization: Continuously identify potential security risks and performance bottlenecks in the network architecture, formulate targeted optimization plans and promote their implementation to ensure the security, compliance and reliability of the network system.

Job Requirements

Educational background: Bachelor’s degree or above in computer network-related majors.

Work experience: More than 5 years of network-related work experience, with experience in large-scale network planning, design, optimization and operation management, and the ability to independently analyze and solve complex network problems.

Technical capabilities: Proficient in TCP/IP protocol stack and Layer 2 & 3 network technologies, including routing and switching technologies such as STP, DHCP, VRRP, VRF, BGP, and ISIS; familiar with encrypted tunnel technologies such as IPSEC VPN and SSL VPN; and familiar with MPLS VPN and SDWAN technologies.

Equipment experience: Familiar with network devices from mainstream manufacturers such as Fortinet, H3C, Huawei, and Edgecore, including configuration and operation of firewalls, switches, and WLAN devices.

Platform experience: Familiar with the deployment and use of monitoring platforms such as Zabbix and Grafana; master the establishment and maintenance of configuration backup, log management systems, and Radius authentication servers.

Comprehensive qualities: Proactive in work, strong sense of responsibility, with excellent communication skills, team spirit, and service awareness.

Preferred Qualifications

Hold CCIE, HCIE, H3CIE related certificates or have equivalent technical capabilities.

Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems.

Familiar with cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud and AWS.
