Job Description
Purpose

This role serves as a trusted scientific expert within the therapeutic area, providing medical and scientific leadership to support evidence-based strategies across the product lifecycle. The position bridges clinical insights with business objectives by delivering medical expertise, driving data generation, and fostering strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders. Through collaboration with internal teams and external partners, the role ensures compliance, promotes scientific excellence, and contributes to advancing patient care and therapeutic innovation.

You will be responsible for
  • Provide scientific support and insights to internal teams and external partners within the therapeutic area.
  • Develop and implement medical affairs strategy plans through gap analysis and customer insights.
  • Review and approve promotional materials, training content, and medical documents to ensure compliance.
  • Lead and implement medical education activities, including advisory boards and CME programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and professional societies.
  • Drive local data generation initiatives, including company-sponsored studies and IIS governance.
  • Deliver medical input into product lifecycle management, regulatory interactions, and issue management.
  • Ensure compliance with global/local SOPs, regulatory policies, and industry codes of practice.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in medical or science-related field (Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology); PhD or MD preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical Medical Affairs or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of local regulatory policies and industry codes of practice.
  • Proven ability to analyze clinical literature and provide evidence-based insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging internal and external partners.
  • Experience in medical education activities and KOL engagement.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, regulatory, and clinical operations teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with capability to lead multiple projects and budgets effectively.
