Position: Senior Mechanical Site Supervisor
The Senior Mechanical Site Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all mechanical installation works at Sg. Rasau WTP project. The scope includes MSCL interconnecting pipelines, DICL non-potable water (NPW) system, stainless steel and uPVC sampling pipelines, chlorine dosing system, H2O2 dosing system, and residual sludge handling system. The position ensures that all site works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedule.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily mechanical installation activities for piping systems and equipment installation
- Coordinate and manage site workforce, subcontractors, and material usage.
- Ensure installation works comply with IFC drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
- Conduct and attend joint inspections with QA/QC, consultant, and client.
- Verify incoming materials and ensure they match approved submission.
- Maintain daily site records, progress reports, checklists, and inspection documentation.
- Enforce HSE requirements, conduct toolbox briefings, and monitor high-risk work areas (chlorine/H2O2 zones).
- Support pressure testing, flushing, and mechanical completion activities.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical and instrumentation teams on installation interfaces.
- Assist in resolving site issues and highlighting constraints to the Project Manager.
- Any other duties/tasks assigned at other project site from time to time.

Skills and Knowledge requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of site supervision experience, preferably in water treatment plant or industrial piping projects.
- Design/engineering experience, preferably in WTP or industrial piping projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word & Excel for reporting and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of MSCL, DICL, stainless steel, and uPVC piping design requirements and installation.
- Able to read P&ID, isometric drawings, and GA drawings.
- Able to work under pressure, fast paced project environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills.
- Possess own transportation for site movement.
