Job summary

A leading automation technology firm in Malaysia is seeking a Mid level / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in automation machine design. Responsibilities include proposing design concepts, preparing manuals, producing 2D & 3D drawings, and conducting structural analysis. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential. Candidates with experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment design will be preferred, ensuring innovation and efficiency in mechanical design solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in mechanical design of automation machines.
  • Proficient in 2D & 3D CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Background in semiconductor manufacturing equipment design is preferred.

Job description
Mid level / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (R&D) - Machine Design

Responsible for mechanical design of automation machine.

Responsible proposal new mechanical design concept to customer.

Prepare design / instruction manual of the project assigned.

Produce & issue 2D & 3D drawings for assembly & fabrication.

Check 2D & 3D drawings dimension and tolerance for assembly & fabrication.

Knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD design software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Responsible for the development and design of mechanical mechanisms for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including the mechanical design of pressing and conveying parts of molding equipment using CAD -SOLID MIX 2D &3D.

Perform structural analysis of machine elements and conduct experiments and verification works.

Involve in product benchmark and preparation of development specifications.

Participate in the production design of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including the additional design of OPTION (mechanical mechanisms) to meet specific user requirements using CAD -SOLID MIX 2D & 3D.

Prefer experience candidate with full automation machine design experience.
