A leading automotive marketing firm in Johor Bahru seeks a Senior Marketing Executive responsible for driving impactful marketing strategies and managing campaign execution. This role involves overseeing marketing activities, leading a team, and ensuring brand excellence across all channels. An ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the automotive industry, and possesses strong project management and analytical skills. You will collaborate with multiple departments to achieve strategic marketing goals.
The Senior Marketing Executive at New Chen Yamaha Motor is a key leadership role responsible for driving high-impact marketing strategies, campaign execution, and brand development across digital and physical channels. This role directly shapes how New Chen is perceived as Malaysia’s Largest Yamaha Lifestyle Zone in the Southern region, ensuring every touchpoint—from social media to showroom experience—projects premium identity, strong community presence, and consistent brand excellence.
You will oversee campaign planning, supervise execution, manage junior staff or creators, and provide strategic recommendations based on market insights, competitor analysis, and business performance. You will act as a bridge between management, sales teams, content creators, and operations to ensure well-aligned and seamless campaign rollouts.
Lead the development of monthly, quarterly, and yearly marketing plans aligned to business goals.
Take charge of campaign planning—from ideation to execution and post-analysis.
Oversee junior team members (marketing execs, interns, designers, content creators).
Drive initiatives that strengthen New Chen’s brand authority, customer traffic, and community engagement.
Manage and track marketing budgets for campaigns, events, and media spend.
Oversee the rollout of major dealership campaigns:
Yamaha launches
Festive promotions
New model arrivals
Open house events
Lifestyle and community rides
Yamaha Day & Anniversary campaigns
Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for production, printing, event setup, and content creation.
Ensure all campaigns meet timelines, stay within budget, and achieve intended KPIs.
Lead content direction for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and digital ads.
Oversee the quality, consistency, and style of all social media content to maintain Yamaha Lifestyle Zone andards.
Approve content calendars, captions, creative assets before publishing.
Optimize digital advertising (Meta Ads, retargeting, lead forms, boosted content).
Track analytics across platforms and propose improvements to boost engagement, leads, and conversions.
Conduct deep market and competitor studies to identify opportunities, threats, and new growth angles.
Prepare strategic monthly and quarterly reports covering:
Campaign performance
Digital analytics
Competitor insights
Market movements
Sales impact
Customer behaviour analysis
Present insights & recommendations to management with proposed strategies for improvement.
Uphold premium visual branding standards in all materials, digital and physical.
Maintain showroom branding, product display concepts, POP materials, and lifestyle visual merchandising.
Ensure all communications reflect New Chen’s identity as:

A premium lifestyle motor dealership
A rider community hub with strong brand culture
Lead customer database management & segmented CRM blasts (WhatsApp, email, SMS).
Plan customer events, club activities, ride-outs, appreciation days, & lifestyle activations.
Strengthen long‑term community relationships with riders, clubs, influencers, and local partners.
Collaborate with after‑sales, finance (Easylulus), and sales team for bundled offers and loyalty programs.
Serve as the main marketing liaison between:
Sales team
After‑sales service
Operations
Easylulus & Gaya Autoworld divisions
Creative / content teams
Provide leadership, task delegation, and quality control.
Ensure consistent communication and alignment across all departments during campaigns.
Handle all quotations, purchase orders, vendor communications, and cost control.
Manage inventory of gifts, merchandise, collaterals, and event materials.
Ensure proper documentation, backups, and marketing asset organization.
3–5 years of experience in marketing (automotive industry is highly preferred).
Strong portfolio of past campaigns, digital ads, event work, or content planning.
Ability to lead, coordinate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of social media analytics, consumer psychology, and online behaviour.
>Good communication, planning discipline, and analytical capability.
Highly proactive, independent, and capable of making fast, informed decisions.
Experience managing junior staff or freelancers is an advantage.
