A dynamic property development group is seeking a Head of Technology to oversee its entire IT infrastructure and drive digital transformation initiatives. You will lead a high-performing team while managing business applications and ensuring cybersecurity compliance. Ideal candidates should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in IT along with 10+ years of relevant experience in the property development sector. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role, which is integral to our operational efficiency and strategic development.
Oversee and drive Encorp’s entire technology landscape from IT infrastructure, business applications, digital transformation, cybersecurity, governance, budgeting, vendor management, to leading a high-performing tech team to ensure secure, efficient, and future-ready operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire IT infrastructure including servers, networks, firewalls, storage, email systems, CCTV, door access, and backup solutions.
Ensure all systems operate efficiently with minimal downtime and meet the company’s security and performance standards.
Lead infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, patches, and regular health checks.
Manage IT asset lifecycle including procurement, deployment, replacement, and disposal.
Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and audit requirements.
Oversee and support all business-critical applications including ERP systems, HRIS, finance & procurement systems, CRM, and other business tools.
Collaborate closely with departments to understand operational needs and translate them into technical/application requirements.
Manage system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Lead and implement application improvement projects to improve operational efficiency.
Liaise with vendors and ensure SLA compliance for application support and development.
Develop and implement Encorp’s digital strategy to support business growth and efficiency.
Identify digital solutions and automation opportunities to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Introduce new technologies, tools, and platforms aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives.
Lead digital adoption, awareness, and training programmes across departments.
Implement and maintain strong cybersecurity practices including endpoint protection, firewall policies, and user access controls.
Monitor risks, threats, and vulnerabilities, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
Ensure proper data backup, recovery, and business continuity planning.
Oversee compliance with data protection regulations and internal security policies.
Prepare, manage, and track the annual IT budget (CAPEX & OPEX).
Negotiate and manage IT contracts, licenses, and third‑party vendor performance.
Ensure proper documentation, SOPs, and governance for all tech‑related activities.
Present reports to management on digital initiatives, infrastructure performance, risks, and recommendations.
Lead the Technology & Digital team including support staff and system administrators.
Provide coaching, guidance, and skills development for team members.
Foster a high‑performance, service‑oriented, and innovative IT culture.
Qualification & Experience:
Minimum Qualification
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
Master’s Degree (MBA / IT Management) is an added advantage.
Related Experience
At least 10 years of experience, preferably in Information Technology in the property development and/or construction industry.
