A leading healthcare organization in Malaysia seeks a Senior Manager for Medical Affairs and Value-Based Care. The role requires establishing and leading national medical affairs while ensuring compliance with best practices. Candidates should possess a medical degree and have 10 to 15 years of experience in medical affairs and clinical governance. Established, implement and lead a national level Medical Affairs, Clinical governance and Value based care structure.
Working with local structure and the hospital medical leads to identify, standardize practices, and address outliers through evidence-based interventions.
Scaled a national centric value-based care program for high-impact clinical procedures.
Develop dashboards to monitor the outcome and cost across all sites.
To work together with relevant parties to develop & implement DRG.
Develop and implement hospital policies and clinical guidelines.
Regular performance evaluations and provided feedback to stakeholders and management, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing training programs as needed.
Lead collaboratively the hospital-wide quality improvement, patient safety and risk management program to ensure compliance with regulations, continuing accreditation, improvement in processes, improved patient care outcomes and reduction of risk.
Responsible to ensure the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) and MAC’s sub-committees carries out their advisory role and conduct meetings as stipulated in the bylaws.
Liaise with the Person in Charge (PIC) and or MAC Chairman to ensure clinical governance policies and clinical practice are in accordance with best practices and recommended guidelines.
Manages specialist recruitment, credentialing, and privileging of medical practitioners. Ensures the contractual agreement of all medical practitioners is maintained and secured.
