A leading property development firm in Malaysia seeks a finance manager to oversee financial reporting, compliance with tax policies, and budgeting processes. Qualifications

• At least 8 years of related working experience, with minimum 5 years in accounting/auditing in Property Developer industry.
• Strong knowledge in FRS and regulations on financial management, forecasting, budgeting.
• Good knowledge of Bursa Malaysia’s regulatory and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Group Tax Policies and statutory requirements.
• Assist in fund raising and Cash Flow monitoring for respective subsidiaries.
• Responsible for the Annual Budgeting process and project budgeting.

Assist in delivering adequate and timely reporting for SMC, EXCO, BOD, Project Management, De-gearing and other exceptional reporting.

Assist the superior/HOD in ensuring effective business controllership and cost control in the respective subsidiaries.

Assist in Cash Flow monitoring and management for respective subsidiaries.

Assist the superior/HOD in fund raising for the projects in the respective subsidiaries.

Ensure compliance of Group Tax Policies and statutory requirements.

Assist in Group Tax Planning for respective subsidiaries.

Ensure compliance to risk management policies and standards established by regulators and the Group.

Assist in the Annual Budgeting process and responsible for all project budgeting.

Ensure good relationship with the government bodies, professional bodies etc.

Job Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor' Degree, Professional Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA).

At least 8 years of related working experience, with minimum 5 years accounting/auditing experience in Property Developer industry.

Proficient with regulations requirement on financial management, forecasting, budgeting, monthly accounting closing and financial analysis for decision making of the management.

Well-versed in Bursa Malaysia’s regulatory and reporting requirements.

Strong analytical skills, able to achieve deadline and work under pressure.

Good knowledge in FRS and experience in accounting, audit and tax.

Good written and oral Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese.

Able to work independently, good working attitude, initiative, responsibility, as well as an effective team player.
