A leading logistics firm is seeking a Senior Logistics Executive to oversee logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations. This role involves planning and coordinating daily activities to ensure accurate inventory management and efficient delivery performance. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, along with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in related operations. The Senior Logistics Executive / Assistant Logistics Manager supports and oversees logistics, warehousing and distribution operations, working closely with supervisors, storekeepers, drivers and dispatch staff to ensure accurate inventory management, smooth order fulfilment and efficient delivery performance.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role contributes to the planning, supervision and continuous improvement of logistics and store operations, including coordination with branches, transporters and customs‑related documentation, while supporting operational excellence through effective processes and team development.
Assist the Logistics Manager in the planning, coordination and supervision of warehouse and logistics operations.
Oversee daily activities involving receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping to ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance with procedures.
Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, review discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
Conduct weekly cycle counts and annual stock takes, ensuring inventory accuracy and minimising stock variances.
Prepare and submit regular operational reports, highlighting issues, risks and improvement opportunities.
Guide and support supervisors, storekeepers, drivers and dispatch staff in their daily tasks, including training and attendance monitoring.
Support the Logistics Manager in handling disciplinary matters and performance management.
Participate in hiring, onboarding and training of warehouse team members as required.
Ensure warehouse operations meet established standards, safety requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute operational insights and warehouse data to management reviews and planning activities.
Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain or related operations.
Knowledge of customs documentation is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
Able to work in a fast‑paced and physically demanding environment.
