Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Logistics Executive to lead our import and export operations. This role is critical in ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting new product movement across borders, and driving efficiency across global logistics. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, sharp problem-solving skills, and solid expertise in international trade compliance and global supply chains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end import/export operations with full compliance to local and international regulations.
  • Ensure all required documentation (HS code classification, permits, licenses, COO, etc.) is accurate and complete.
  • Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and government agencies to resolve any shipment or clearance issues.
  • Review compliance requirements for new products and assess import/export regulations based on the destination country.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on trade routes, documentation, and costs.
  • Negotiate freight terms and manage relationships with logistics providers and customs brokers.
  • Collaborate with planning, procurement, warehouse, and customer service teams for smooth delivery execution.
  • Track logistics performance and costs; propose and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Guide and support junior team members while fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in international logistics, import/export, and customs compliance.
  • Strong understanding of HS codes, Incoterms, SST, FTA/COO, and related trade documentation.
  • Proven ability to assess regulatory requirements for new SKUs and navigate importing/exporting country rules.
  • Skilled in managing logistics partners, resolving customs issues, and optimizing freight flows.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Resilient, hands-on, and able to work under pressure.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and logistics tools preferred.
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
