Job Responsibilities and Duties

Technical & Advanced Support

• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution within SLAs.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for high-priority incidents involving servers, networks, and enterprise systems.
• Design and implement improvements to IT infrastructure, including virtualization, Active Directory, and cloud services (Azure, Microsoft 365).

Project & Team Management

• Spearhead IT projects from planning to execution, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Conduct performance reviews of support tickets and team workflows to optimise efficiency.

Security & Compliance

• Oversee data security protocols, including backups, access controls, and compliance with industry standards.
• Implement and audit cybersecurity measures (e.g., firewall policies, endpoint protection).
• Manage advanced network systems (routers, switches, firewalls) and propose upgrades.
• Administer hybrid environments (Windows/Linux/Mac OS) and scripting solutions (Python, SQL, VBS).

Operational Excellence

• Supervise IT procurement, vendor negotiations, and asset lifecycle management.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, policies, and user guides.
• Ensure seamless operation of in-house systems (CCTV, door access, etc.).

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in IT support/administration.
• Expertise in Hyper‑V, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365/Azure.
• Proven track record in managing IT projects and vendor collaborations.
• Advanced troubleshooting for servers, networks, and multi‑OS environments.
• Knowledge of scripting (Python, SQL), MDM (Intune), and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Power Automate and cybersecurity tools.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement.
