The Opportunity
Abbott Business & Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst with strong expertise in Veeva CRM. This role acts as the key link between the Commercial Delivery team and business stakeholders—translating business needs into effective technology solutions. We’re looking for a results‑driven professional skilled in aligning IT capabilities with business goals.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with business and IT teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that support commercial strategy and improve field sales experience.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to analyze processes and recommend technology improvements.
- Gather, assess, and document business requirements; evaluate solution options and recommend the best approach.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications and support data/process modeling.
- Lead testing, verification, validation, and change management activities.
- Provide expert guidance on Veeva CRM and other commercial systems.
- Identify and drive process improvement opportunities.
- Manage small projects, enhancements, and defect fixes.
- Provide Level 2–3 support by troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes.
- Build strong working relationships across business, IT teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct demos or training to support system adoption.
- Oversee contractor and vendor work when needed.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in healthcare/life sciences working with Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Salesforce.com, or similar commercial applications.
- At least 4 years as a Business Analyst with packaged CRM systems.
- Strong ability to understand business needs and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong IT–business partnership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Veeva or Salesforce implementations across sales, service, marketing, and asset management modules.
- Experience delivering regional/global solutions integrated with data warehouses or master data systems.
- Knowledge of full SDLC, both Waterfall and Agile.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and testing tools like HP ALM or Tricentis Q‑Test.
- Experience working with validated systems in healthcare/life sciences.
- Strong stakeholder‑management and solution‑design capabilities.
- Willingness to travel 10–20%, including internationally.
