Job summary

A design firm based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to prepare and modify design drawings and proposals according to client requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, with 4-5 years of experience in the field. Proficiency in Auto-cad and design software like Sketchup and 3D Max is essential. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, present and modify design drawings and proposals based on client requirements.

Job description

Responsibilities

Prepare, present and modify design drawings and proposals based on client requirements.

Manage all aspects of the design process, including space planning, conceptual design, mood boards, 3D renderings and detailed technical drawings.

Verify and ensure all design drawings meet specifications before submitting to the Managing Director for review and approval.

Coordinate closely with the project manager to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

Performance Management

Execute all tasks given and responsible for work performance.

Prepare and submit performance management reports to Managing Director.

Identify areas of improvement based on the performance management report.

Able to multitask and work under tight timeline.

Quality Management System

Implement company policy and departmental standard operating procedures.

Support other internal customers in operations to ensure products and services meet customer and other interested parties’ requirements.

Ensure proper document and record keeping in Design department.
