As Chemin continues to scale, we are strengthening our Human Resources function to ensure our growth is built on strong foundations, processes, and a great employee experience. We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Executive to play a key role in shaping how we support, develop, and engage our people.

This role reports to the Head of HR & Office Manager, who will retain responsibility for payroll, office management, finance, and salary negotiations. Serving as a core partner to the team, you will drive day‑to‑day HR operations while elevating our people practices. You will oversee the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensure compliance, and be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
  • Manage onboarding set up and offboarding processes
  • Issue and manage employment contracts, confirmations, extensions, and exits
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee HR matters
Policies, Compliance & Employee Relations
  • Maintain and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and regulations
  • Support disciplinary processes, grievances, and performance issues
Performance Management & Development
  • Administer performance review cycles and documentation
  • Support managers with performance improvement plans (PIPs)
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning initiatives
Recruitment & Workforce Support
  • Coordinate with our Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers on manpower planning
  • Support onboarding readiness for newemployees
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Plan and execute engagement and well‑being initiatives
  • Support internal communications and employee feedback activities
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyse insights
HR Reporting & Systems
  • Prepare monthly HR metrics (headcount, attrition, leave trends)
  • Support HR system administration and process improvements
  • 5+ years HR generalist experience (SME or tech environment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws
  • Hands‑on experience in employee relations and performance management
  • Strong communication, discretion, and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working in a lean, collaborative environment and independently
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) as well as a good command of Bahasa Melayu
