Job description

Reports operationally to the Senior Manager, Mechanical and functionally to the Senior Manager, Human Resources & Admin at HQ.

Oversee and manage the full spectrum of human resources and administrative functions.

Handle end-to-end recruitment including job postings, screening, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.

Manage employee records, HR documentation, attendance, leave, and HRMS updates with accuracy.

Process monthly payroll inputs, overtime, allowances, deductions, and claims with minimal supervision.

Administer compensation & benefits matters and ensure timely statutory submissions.

Handle employee relations matters, provide first-level advice, and escalatete serious issues when needed.

Manage the performance appraisal cycle including communication, coordination, and follow-up.

Coordinate and implement training programs, maintain training records, and track employee development.

Prepare HR reports such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment progress, and payroll summaries.

Lead employee engagement, welfare initiatives and company event coordination independently.

Oversee office administration including office supplies, facility upkeep, maintenance, and vendor management.

Manage travel bookings, logistics arrangements, office assets and document control.

Ensure compliance with company policies, labour regulations and audit requirements.

Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data integrity.

Undertake special assignments, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably within the engineering and construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Experience in project‑based or construction environments is an advantage.
  • Possess pleasant personality and able to work well with all levels of employees.
  • Proficiency and trustworthiness in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Initiative to seek information and be creative when needed.
  • A team player as well as ability to work independently.
