Job description
About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of electronic hardware development — from concept, schematic design, PCB development, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to mass production readiness. The role demands strong technical and practical capability in circuit design, PCB assembly, soldering, and validation testing. The Senior Hardware Engineer must be hands‑on, technically precise, and capable of resolving issues independently during design validation, certification, and commercialization phases. The position plays a key role in ensuring that new electronic hardware designs are robust, manufacturable, and compliant with performance and certification requirements.

What you’ll be doing
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and proof‑of‑concept evaluations.
  • Develop schematic diagrams and define hardware architecture, component selection and specifications.
  • Design and verify PCB layouts, ensuring manufacturability, signal integrity, and mechanical fit.
  • Assemble and solder prototype PCBAs; perform rework and modification where required.
  • Conduct power, signal, and functional testing using test instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, multimeter, etc.).
  • Perform component‑level troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for design and production issues.
  • Lead antenna, crystal, and RF tuning activities in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
  • Validate hardware functionality through bench tests, stress tests, aging tests, and field trials.
  • Coordinate product certification (EMC, EMI, RF, safety), including preparation of test samples and resolution of lab findings.
  • Interface with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure complete integration and design‑for‑manufacturing readiness.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, BOM, test procedures, and product folders for NPI handover.
  • Conduct post‑production validation and provide ongoing engineering support for field performance issues.
  • Provide technical mentoring and hands‑on training to junior engineers and technicians.
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in electronic hardware design, testing and commercialization
  • Strong expertise in schematic design, PCB layout, and validation testing
  • Proficient in soldering, PCB assembly, rework, and bench‑level troubleshooting
  • Experience with electronic measuring instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, electronic load, etc.)
  • Knowledge in IoT, RF, and wireless communication protocols (NB‑IoT, LoRaWAN, CAT1 bis)
  • Hands‑on experience in DFM/DFT review, antenna tuning, EMC/EMI compliance, and product certification
  • Proven ability to handle hardware debugging from prototype through production release
  • Experience collaborating with EMS, suppliers, and test labs
  • Strong documentation discipline for product and test data traceability
  • Familiarity with firmware debugging and hardware‑software interfacing is an advantage
