Responsibilities

Overseeing and facilitating the fit out process for retail spaces within the mall.

Ensuring that tenant fit-outs are completed in accordance with mall guidelines, within agreed timelines, and to the required quality standards.

Key Duties
  • Tenant Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for tenants undergoing fit-out projects. Guide them through mall fit-out guidelines and approval processes.
  • Project Management: Oversee the fit-out process from design approval to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinate with tenants, contractors, and mall management.
  • Compliance and Approvals: Ensure that tenant fit-out plans comply with mall guidelines, safety standards, and legal requirements. Review and approve fit-out designs and plans.
  • Quality Control: Monitor construction and fit-out work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with the quality assurance team.
  • Contractor Management: Liaise with contractors and suppliers on behalf of tenants and mall management. Ensure that all work is carried out by approved contractors and meets the mall's standards.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Assist tenants in understanding the cost implications of their fit-out process and manage budgets between tenants, contractors, and mall management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on the progress of fit-out projects, including any challenges, delays, and resolutions to mall management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in retail fit-outs, construction management, or a similar role, preferably within a mall or shopping center environment.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements related to construction and fit-out processes.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, including CAD and project management tools.
