The ideal candidate will have a strong costing background and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. You will manage finance functions including accounting, costing, treasury, cash flow, and budgeting while ensuring statutory compliance and internal controls. Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for liaising with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• CFA or MIA membership is a plus.

Job description

We are seeking a Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager with strong manufacturing and costing background to oversee full‑spectrum finance operations and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee overall finance functions including accounting, costing, treasury, cash flow, budgeting, tax planning, and statutory compliance.

Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Handle transfer pricing matters and statutory documentation.

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management and statutory financial reports.

Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.

Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on audit findings.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and government authorities.

Lead, coach, and develop the Finance & Controlling team.

Support management with ad‑hoc reports and special projects.

Ensure compliance with 5S, safety, and environmental requirements within the department.

Job Requirements

Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA, MACPA, CIMA or equivalent).

Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong costing background.

Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders).

Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.

CFA or MIA membership is a plus.

Strong analytical skills and solid knowledge of accounting, taxation, and statutory requirements.
