Role Description

This position is based in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Finance Executive with strong initiative and a hands‑on mindset to join our organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, audit, and tax, strong analytical capabilities, and good commercial finance exposure. This role will play a key part in fundraising support, financial modelling, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, contributing to business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS/IFRS.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to assist management decision‑making.
  • Conduct variance analysis, monitor project profitability, and provide insights on cost optimisation.
  • Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely completion of statutory and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and MIA requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, payments, and bank reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with business and project teams to review financial performance and pricing models.
  • Drive process improvements and support the digital transformation of finance operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of total finance experience, including:
    • At least 4 years in an audit firm (Semi‑Senior or Senior level), and
    • At least 4 years in a commercial or IT services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, Microsoft Excel, and accounting systems (e.g. MySQL).
  • MIA membership if preferred and will be an added advantage.
  • Qualifications: ACCA, ASCPA, or other recognised professional accounting qualifications.
  • Good understanding of revenue recognition, project accounting, and SaaS/subscription‑based business models.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
