Job description
Responsibilities
  • Accounting Operations: Managing AP, AR, GL, payroll and month‑end closing processes.
  • Compliance and Control: Ensuring adherence to accounting standards (like IFRS/MFRS), tax laws (E‑Invoicing and SST), company policies and maintaining strong internal controls.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting in budget preparation, monitoring actuals vs budget and performing variance analysis.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and reviewing project accounting and cash flows, monthly/periodic financial statements, management accounts, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaising with auditors, tax agents, bankers and internal teams (Technical Solutioning, Service Delivery and Business Support).
  • Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing enhancements to finance processes for greater efficiency and reliability.
Experience and Skills
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or professional Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA)
  • 3 – 5 years working experience in accounting and/or finance related field.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and time‑management abilities.
  • Clear communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills.
