We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our team at JS HOME LIVING SDN. BHD. in Johor. This is a contract role that will play a crucial part in ensuring the company's financial compliance and risk management processes are operating effectively.
1) Oversee the preparation and submission of all financial reports and statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
2) Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential financial risks
3) Develop and implement robust internal controls and policies to safeguard the company's assets
4) Provide expert financial advice and guidance to support strategic decision-making
5) Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance
6) Financial reporting & Audit Management
1) Minimum 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in a similar audit or compliance role, preferably within the Accounting industry; Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, audit, corporate finance, legal, compliance, project management, or IPO-related roles preferred.
2) Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills, with a deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations and accounting standards
3) Proven track record in establishing and maintaining effective financial controls and risk management frameworks
4) Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data
5) Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
6) Ability to work independently.
7) Understanding of corporate governance, financial reporting, and audit processes.
8) Strong project management and coordination skills.
9) Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
10) Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
11) Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
