Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / equivalent.
  • 3–5 years relevant finance experience (healthcare or multi‑branch service industry is an advantage).
  • Strong in management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cashflow planning.
  • Comfortable working with operational data and translating insights into business actions.
  • Experience in multi‑entity / multi‑branch environment preferred.
  • Tech‑competent: strong Excel/Sheets, accounting systems (SQL Accounting), and reporting tools.
  • Basic knowledge/exposure to fundraising activities (financial modelling, investor/bank packs, due diligence preparation).
  • ACCA holders are highly valued and will have a strong advantage for Finance Controller progression.
  • High integrity, structured thinking, proactive ownership mindset.
Responsibilities
  • Lead managerial accounting for multi‑clinic performance: deliver management accounts by branch/service line with insights, trends, and clear action priorities.
  • Own budgeting & rolling forecasts: build operational budgets (patient volume, payer mix, doctor productivity, pharmacy margin), run variance analysis, and drive corrective actions with branch leads.
  • Drive profitability & cost‑driver analysis: contribution margin by service, clinic break‑even, overhead allocation, and EBITDA improvement levers without compromising care quality.
  • Strategic business partnering: support leadership on pricing, service expansion, clinic ramp‑up economics, and investment ROI / capex planning.
  • Cash‑flow & working capital stewardship: cash runway reporting, AR ageing, TPA/corporate settlement cycles, inventory turns, and cash conversion optimisation.
  • Internal controls & governance ownership: strengthen approval matrices, SOP compliance, segregation of duties, and risk controls across branches.
  • Fundraising / financing readiness (basic exposure): prepare financial packs, projections, and due diligence materials for investor/bank discussions.
  • Oversee accounting outputs (not a doer role): review month‑end results and guide Accounting Executives to meet timelines and standards.
