Job summary

A property development company based in Sungai Petani, Kedah, seeks an Accounts and Finance Executive to prepare monthly management accounts, maintain the general ledger, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess a Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, and have at least 3 years of experience in finance, preferably within the property sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for this role, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in property development.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger including accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
• Review journal entries and ensure proper documentation for approvals.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as SST and withholding tax.
• Monitor cash flow and support project cash planning.
