Job summary

A global inspection and certification company in Malaysia is seeking a Field Technician to conduct sampling and well integrity surveys both onshore and offshore. The ideal candidate should have a technical certificate, 3-5 years of experience in onsite analysis, and proficiency in English. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are necessary, along with the ability to maintain compliance with health and safety standards. This role may involve traveling to various work sites on short notice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years previous work experience in sampling and/or onsite analysis.
• Willingness and ability to travel and work on site for extended periods of time.
• Self-motivated with high standards for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE).

Responsibilities

• Carry out equipment maintenance and well integrity survey duties.
• Interface with the client and produce detailed job reports.
• Maintain base facilities in good condition and coordinate logistics.
