Job Responsibility
Department: Risk Management Dept, Group Corporate Quality
Job Purpose
To assist Head of Department in executing & achieving broad requirement of risk management in the ever expanding and challenging role of risk management in MIMOS Group including subsidiaries and support to facilitate the efficient running of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- To initiate, facilitate, review & maintain risk register based on feedback from risk owner & MIMOS strategic business directions & strategies (including subsidiaries) — conduct workshop session to draft risk register; meeting & discussion to finalise the register and coordinate challenge session with the risk committee to obtain approval for the risk register
- To maintain & monitor risk management database/records to ensure the records up to date
- To assist Head of RMD to coordinate & secretariat to the risk management meetings for RMC, ORMC & PRMC every quarter and ensuring risk management related meeting held as planned
- To attend other committee meetings related to risk (i.e. HIIRMC meeting, BCMS Committee meeting, MOSTI risk management meeting as MIMOS Risk Officer representing company; division meeting; sectors & ESLT meeting as & when required)
- To prepare Draft Minutes Of Meeting (MOM) for risk management meetings & circulated to respective Chairman of meeting
- To follow up on Matters Arising emerged from RMC and Sub-Committees MOM from risk owner
- To prepare, compile & update quarterly risk management reports for Risk Management Committee (RMC); Audit & Risk Management Committee (ARMC) & Board of Directors (BOD) every quarter, including preparing presentation slides for respective meetings and attend the ARMC meeting as alternate to Head of RMD
- To assist Head of RMD in promoting risk management culture and awareness via talk / workshop / electronic communication / campaign to all MIMOSian
- To update ERM SOP related to MIMOS Enterprise Risk Management & align with MS ISO31000:2020
- To update ERM Framework related to MIMOS Enterprise Risk Management & align with MS ISO31000:2020
- To assist Head of RMD to draft, revised, review and finalise MIMOS Bhd & subsidiaries SORMIC on yearly basis
- To conduct compliance review on the risk management risk register
- Managing, maintaining and updating records/data in the Risk Management SharePoint sites (3 sites) and Risk Management site in MIMOS public website
- Any other miscellaneous / ad-hoc tasks related to risk management (i.e. ISO certification exercise; automation exercise; etc)
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Possess Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
Relevant Work Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of corporate governance experience.
- Experience in corporate governance, operations, projects, and IT.
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing Requirements
- Certified Enterprise Risk Manager/Operational Risk Manager/Enterprise Risk Professional
