Senior Executive, Quality Assurance and Testing (Automation), Digital Solutions

Reports To

Head, Digital Platforms

Role Purpose

To support the company ABP and LTBP 2.0 targets from Digital touchpoints in implementing new products and features and manage existing products to ensure a smooth functioning website and internet booking engine that provides good digital experience to users that will translate into sales conversion and increase revenue from the Digital channel. You will be responsible for test automation to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of test coverage for the client's product suites. This is achieved through designing, developing and maintaining test automation.

Key Accountability

• Responsible in delivering quality products that fulfil business requirements.
• Responsible to deliver new features, products and services within agreed timelines as per plan.
• Manage system providers and vendors in delivering new features/enhancements with quality and speed.
• Responsible in coordinating with business units, system providers and vendors to review, agree and execute test plan.
• Evaluate, record and report test results
• To contribute and work with a small team of Test Automation Engineers to design, develop and maintain test automation frameworks, test automation test suites and test harnesses.
• Mastery of the test automation domain.
• Reduce technical debt by analysing test automation codes and enhancing the same.
• Work closely with the QA Manager and Management to implement QA Test Automation strategies, and to work in initiatives that improve processes and/or procedures that contribute to performance effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Provide technical support and guidance in test automation for the projects team you work on to ensure successful delivery of the same.
• Management of in-house testing tools and associated source code.
• Champion test automation best practices and processes.

Qualifications & Working Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent with 2-3 years or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3-4 years previous working experience in an agile software development environment and experience in test automation.

Areas of Experience

• Experience in back-end (API level) - Integrated API (e.g.: code-based) & API testing (e.g.: Postman, Rest Assured).
• Experience in front-end (UI) test automation - web automation (Selenium) & mobile app automation (Appium).
• Experience in version control tools (i.e.: Git) is a plus.
• Familiar with continuous integration, build & deployment practices and tools.
