This position is responsible for managing procurement activities for the retail pharmacy operations, which includes sourcing, negotiating, and procuring a wide range of pharmaceutical and healthcare products to meet our business needs while ensuring cost efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products.
  • Sourcing pharmaceutical and healthcare products and services while optimizing costs and quality.
  • Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, including terms and conditions, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with suppliers.
  • Coordinate procurement operations and inventory management to ensure critical drug availability, accurate inventory value assessment, optimized inventory turns, and minimized drug expirations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock level, inventory value assessment, minimize wastage and prevent stockouts.
  • Analyze procurement costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to improve procurement efficiency.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and insights.
  • Conduct market research to keep abreast of emerging trends, marketing conditions, business opportunities and product innovations to make informed procurement decisions.
  • Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.
