A financial institution in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a Finance Executive responsible for managing the invoice payment process and overseeing accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in finance, focusing on vendor payment processing and fixed asset management. This role involves monitoring cash flows, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of payment documents.
Responsible for preparing the invoice payment process in Oracle and processing H2H payment in OCBC/Corporate Internet Banking (CIB).
Responsible for verifying Staff claim in Kaizen and preparing reimbursement (twice a month).
Responsible for preparing the Prepayment amortisation report on a monthly basis.
Responsible for preparing the Accrual/Provision report on a monthly basis.
Responsible for preparing manual journal voucher (JV) and posting into the Oracle General Ledger (GL) system.
Assist in processing new additions to fixed assets and month-end fixed assets closing in the Fixed Asset module.
Responsible for compiling the Payment Voucher and ensuring that all the supporting documents are properly kept in the shared folder for the payment unit.
Assist in preparing and monitoring cash-flow movement for stockbroking and financing.
Attend to queries from operation/share service provider/other Group Finance units on payment matters.
Supporting the month-end closing and providing payment-related reports.
To execute any work that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor and/or by the management.
Minimum bachelor's degree in related field
At least 3-5 years of working experience in Finance/Accounting, with handling vendor payment processing, Accounts Payable operations and Fixed Assets management. Hands‑on experience in the end-to-end vendor payment cycle. Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure payment accuracy.
