Job Scope
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Medical Records Department.
  • Ensure all medical records (physical and electronic) are complete, accurate, secure, and easily accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Supervise staff scheduling, training, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, MOH guidelines, and legal requirements.
  • Oversee timely reporting of communicable diseases and medical documentation.
  • Coordinate audits and quality improvement projects.
  • Liaise with IT on Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system matters.
  • Monitor department costs and vendor contracts.
  • Provide excellent customer service and manage feedback or complaints.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Health Information Management / Record Management or related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years working in a hospital Medical Records department, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
