• Understand the business process, logical and physical descriptions, criticality of the subsystems and interrelation between the subsystems.
• Drives the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations and maintenance functions.
• Supervises network technical staff in troubleshooting and managing network components.
• Manages all documentations and configurations of troubleshooting activities.
• Involve in testing of software, upgrades and changes as well as integration tests of the subsystems.
• Recommends network solutions for operations and maintenance.
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to information being processed.
• Adhere to ISO, ISMS and OHSAS standards.

Overall responsibility for all data network planning and development activities, including network strategy, design, capacity, optimization, performance and availability. To oversee works of executive and technical support staff in managing network system.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Understand the business process, logical and physical descriptions, criticality of the subsystems and interrelation between the subsystems.
• Drives the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations and maintenance functions in order to ensure the best possible levels of service quality and availability are maintained (SLA and SLO).
• Supervises network technical staff in troubleshooting and managing network components.
• Manages all documentations and configurations of the troubleshooting activities, including work around solutions.
• Involve in the testing of software, upgrades and changes as well as integration tests of the subsystems.
• Recommends network solutions for operations and maintenance.
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
• Adhere to ISO, ISMS and OHSAS standard in doing day to day jobs.
