Compensation and Benefits
- Payroll data preparation, attendance monitoring, and benefits administration.
- Ensure timely updates of employee records, claims, and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, etc.).
Compliance and Policy Implementation
- Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain HR documentation, contracts, and personal files in accordance with audit requirements.
HR Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain HR information system (HRIS) and ensure data accuracy.
- Generate reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, and other HR metrics.
- Assisting in the design and maintenance of the organization\'s structure.
Workforce Planning Support
- Collaborate with production managers to support manpower planning and shift scheduling needs.
- Assist in coordinating contract staff or temporary workers during peak periods.
HR Budgeting
- Budget Monitoring: Monitoring HR expenditures on a daily basis to ensure they align with the approved budget.
- Budget Revisions: Recommending budget revisions or adjustments based on changing business needs or unexpected expenses.
- Budget Planning: Assisting in the development of the HR budget for the upcoming fiscal year or planning period.
- Compliance: Ensuring that HR budgeting practices comply with financial policies and guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- 1–3 years of HR working experience, preferably in a manufacturing / industrial environment
- Knowledge of Malaysian labour laws (Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, OSHA, Minimum Wage)
- Familiar with HR best practices: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, disciplinary matters, employee relations
- Experience with HRIS / Payroll systems (e.g. SQL HRMS, AutoCount, HR2000, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Exposure to attendance, overtime, shift workforce management
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work independently and maintain high confidentiality
