Job summary

A leading logistics company in Port Klang is seeking a Finance Executive responsible for managing account closures, accounts payable and receivable, and cash flow planning. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance, with 3–5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Office and understanding of accounting principles are essential. Qualifications

• Responsible for monthly account closing, including journals and account analysis.
• Manage Account payable, Account receivable, and intercompany transactions.
• Monitor daily fund position and assist in cash flow planning.

Job description

Responsibilities

Responsible for monthly account closing, including journals, account analysis, and review of account.

Manage and oversee Account payable, Account receivable and intercompany transactions.

Maintenance of fixed assets register.

Monitor daily fund position and assist in cash flow planning and forecasting.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.

Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation.

Liaise with auditors, bankers, vendors, and internal departments on finance-related matters.

Provide guidance and review work performed by team member of Finance Department.

Undertake any other duties as assigned by Finance Manager.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting functions.

Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes.

Experience in the logistics / forwarding / shipping industry is highly preferred.

Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

Experience using accounting or ERP systems is preferred.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Able to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
