Senior Executive - Finance, Accounts & Admin

To prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly management accounts and reports (including tax computation, reporting package, cash flow statement, GST returns, SST returns, and related schedules).

To prepare balance sheet control accounts reconciliation and ensure balances reported in financial statements are completed and accurate.

Maintain accounting controls and recommend policies and procedures to enhance process efficiencies.

To liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, government bodies, suppliers as well as internal clients/other departments of the Berjaya Group of Companies.

To prepare profit and cash flow forecasts and projections.

To prepare statutory financial reports.

To analyze financial information using Excel to calculate various ratios, percentages, and averages.

Handle all aspects of financial accounting matters including day‑to‑day running of the Finance operations.

Assist in procurement of supplies, maintaining contracts/documents, updating administrative records, renewal of licenses and insurance, and handling general office duties.

Lead and supervise an accounting team by coordinating daily tasks and ensuring all accounting deadlines are met.

To ensure the validity of the licenses relating to business and Company to avoid operational interruptions or penalties.

To ensure internal controls are instilled in the Company.

To ensure the SOP and risk management are updated.

To perform any other ad hoc duties.

Job Requirements

Academic qualification: Degree (Major in Accounting/Finance) or final stage of professional qualification in accounting.

Knowledge: Required to know Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and any computerized accounting packages.

Experience: Preferable to have a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
