Job summary

A Malaysian engineering firm is seeking a Human Resources Executive responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR functions with a focus on recruitment and talent acquisition. You will handle end-to-end recruitment processes, payroll management, and maintain employee records while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations in Malaysia. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of HR experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and excellent organizational skills. Human Resources Executive (Senior/Junior)

Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions with a primary focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.

Identify and recruit potential talents in accordance with organization requirements within the stipulated timeframe through leading the end‑to‑end recruitment processes.

Collaborate with hiring managers to assess hiring requirements, refine job descriptions, and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Administer overall recruitment processes from sourcing, screening, interview arrangement, pre‑employment medical screening, reference check, background checks, approval, offer letter, on‑boarding, etc.

Handle foreign knowledge workers (FKW) related matters thru MDEC/ESD, including headcount projection, employment pass application, cancellation of employment pass, renewal, etc.

Regularly review and revise job descriptions & organization charts.

Responsible for staff movement notification.

Process monthly payroll in a timely manner and ensure all statutory regulations are complied.

Prepare all type of HR letters and correspondences, including but not limited to Appointment Letter, Confirmation Letter, Acceptance of Resignation Letter, Disciplinary Letter, etc.

Attend and manage employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary processes.

Maintain accurate and organized HR records, including employee personal information, payroll, leave, and so on.

Manage office door access system.

Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the Management.

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in human resource / business administration or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experiences and great exposure in handling recruitment.
  • Well versed in Malaysia Employment Act and good knowledge of HR practices.
  • Computer literate, especially in Excel / Word / PowerPoint.
  • Effective and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Self-driven and meticulous.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity, and ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
