  • Supports the development and execution of commercial space strategies across MASB airports. As the starting point of the commercial journey, the role ensures that space allocation, tenant mix requirements, and category zoning align with passenger profiles, growth forecasts, and overall commercial objectives. By enabling efficient utilisation of space and effective category planning, the position contributes directly to improving Income per Passenger (IPP) and strengthening overall commercial performance

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in translating commercial strategies into space allocation plans and layouts.
  • Support category zoning exercises to ensure balanced tenant mix and optimum use of commercial areas.
  • Provide input into white-canvas planning, terminal optimisation, and expansion projects, with a focus on future IPP growth.
  • Maintain accurate databases on space allocation, category mix, and utilisation efficiency.
  • Track occupancy, vacancies, and space changes to support commercial decision-making.
  • Highlight underperforming or underutilised areas for potential reallocation to strengthen revenue and IPP outcomes.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with internal teams (Leasing, Performance Management, Fit‑Out, Operations, Engineering) to support approvals and implementation of space plans.
  • Provide planning input for cross‑functional discussions and commercial workshops.
  • Coordinate documentation and information sharing on space allocation matters.

Process & Documentation

  • Prepare layouts, proposals, and supporting documents for management approval.
  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and governance requirements for space allocation
  • Maintain accurate filing and version control of approved plans and allocation changes.
  • Support initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in space planning processes.
  • Benchmark internal practices against industry standards and peer airports
  • Contribute ideas for enhancing commercial performance through smarter space allocation and stronger IPP impact.<br>
