Job description

Responsible for water and wastewater system operation excellence, maintenance, and sustaining tasks to ensure continuous & uninterrupted supply, legal compliance, and cost-effectiveness to support site core business.

In your new role, you will:

1. Ensure water and wastewater operation & maintenance meet segment / business needs and local statutory requirements.
2. Plan, monitor, and control costs related to water and wastewater system operation and maintenance activities.
3. Define operation and maintenance strategies to support business operations and growth.
4. Coordinate with various parties for proper planning and execution of operation and maintenance tasks.
5. Manage contracts and service providers engaged in water and wastewater system operation and maintenance, including timely vendor performance reviews and assessments.
6. Continuously improve operation, maintenance, and sustainability of water and wastewater systems.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical) or related fields with demonstrated capability.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management/services/engineering.
• Familiarity with water (RO/DI) and wastewater operation & maintenance concepts & requirements for semiconductor manufacturing plants.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater design standards, codes, specifications, permitting processes, and requirements.
• Understanding of other infrastructure systems such as electrical, mechanical, cleanroom, & building automation.
• Knowledge in infrastructure system acceptance & testing (testing & commissioning, buy-off, change management, etc.).
• Ability to perform risk assessments of processes, equipment, and new designs using FMECA/FMEA.
• Experience with 8D methodology, root cause analysis tools, 7 QC tools, and decision-making.
• Certified Environmental Professional in the operation of industrial effluent treatment systems (CePIETSO) or sewage treatment plant operation (CePSTPO) is an advantage.
