Job summary

A leading semiconductor company in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Engineer in Customer Quality Management to oversee the Back End production process for intelligent multi-chip modules. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, along with several years of experience in the semiconductor market and knowledge in customer quality management. Senior Engineer (Customer Quality Management)
  • Customer Quality Management representative in Back End production for intelligent multi-chip modules.
  • Local Audit Support; Coordinating and leading of customer visits and audits.
  • Complaints Management / Returns management RMA. Review and optimize the return process for such devices. Perform a second hands on non-destructive failure analysis and coordinate all further steps with the process and Failure Analysis experts in Germany and Malaysia.
  • Compilation/Preparation of documentation and customer specific records (qualification reports, customer specific reports, qual packages, etc.).
  • Customer support for QM topics and processes (i.e. customer requests regarding life time of LED’s, application conditions, qualification, preparation of customer questionnaires). Internal clarification and communication towards the customer.
  • PCN management in case of major changes. Initiation and coordination of PCN documentation. Setup of customer information packages. Collection of customer responses for release of changes.
  • Quality support for customer specific projects.
  • Quarantine management/ pullback (trigger)/ Quality improvement programs (trigger) / Involved in business processes like PPCM and SC adding value in terms of risk assessments and necessary action plans
    Support global CQMs as Voice of the Customer for process changes in production in close collaboration with our product and technical life cycle management (e.g. during PPCMs und PCNs).
  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic), Physics or equivalent.
  • Profound knowledge in IC design and ideally also in opto-semiconductor.
  • Familiarity with electronic measuring tools, oscilloscope, power supplies.
  • Programming skill such as python and SQL.
  • Several years of experience in the semiconductor market and use of quality management tool and techniques would be beneficial.
  • Able to work independently and remotely, Team Player, Strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral).
