Senior Engineer - Construction (AWP) EIT Disciplines

Responsibilities
Operate as a part of a team of Advance Work Packaging professionals in the preparation of Construction, and/or Installation Work Packages. Coordinate with construction, fabricators and subcontractors on the Installation Work Packages preparation and implementation.
- Develop Work Packages with all the details required for its execution including engineering deliverables, materials, resources, constraints, safety and quality control measures.
- Ensure data required to build work packages is available and accurate in coordination with Engineering and Supply Chain departments.
- Ensure proper execution of AWP procedures and practices on the project.
- Analyse the project design documents to determine the scope and requirements of the work.
- Prepare weekly reports that monitor the packages drawings IFC dates and material delivery status.
- Maintain a sufficient backlog of approved CWPs and/or IWPs.
- Work with Document Control to establish EWP / CWP / IWPs document ties.
- Monitor and update the life Cycle of the CWP and/or IWPs.
- Maintain the Change Management process in the packaging program.
- Review work packages (CWPs and /or IWPs) to release for construction.
- Work with the project planner, and Construction Engineer to ensure work packages alignment in accordance with path of construction.
- Coordinate with other AWP engineers from other disciplines to ensure logical execution sequence.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the AWP team, including training and mentoring of junior team members.
- Lead the construction subcontractors / fabricators on the IWP implementation.
- Scoping sessions with stakeholders to identify open fronts and priorities for IWP preparation.
- Identify all constraints of the IWPs and clear them with stakeholders prior release.
- Develop IWP / L4 schedule with construction partner planners.
- Ensure construction progress reporting against the IWPs.
- Link each IWP to its related ITR (Inspection Test Report) and BOQ for invoicing process.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas offshore projects, preferably in construction of offshore platform projects (resume with references of projects).
- Knowledge of project construction sequence and familiarity with all involved departments and project stakeholders for project execution.
- Capability of identifying and anticipating requirements such as drawings, technical documentation, specifications details – the ROS ("Required on Site") and ETA ("Estimated Time of Arrival") of supply chain materials and scheduled activities from Primavera P6.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the preparation of the AWP construction packages for EIT disciplines – coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Supply Chain & Construction department.
- Familiar with AWP Software and Tools.
- Minimum 2 years of full AWP / workface planning implementation on construction of offshore platform projects is highly preferable.
