Job description

Responsibilities

• Bring product concepts to life and develop next‑generation improvements by analyzing information about past products and current trends, turning ideas into specific design requirements for a manufactured goods.
• Use software to perform circuit analysis, run simulations, create schematic drawings, and produce wiring diagrams.
• Prepare bills of materials, expense schedules and manufacturing process cost reviews with a goal of reducing expenses while maintaining product reliability.
• Recommend modifications to existing designs and prototypes based on performance in quality tests and customer feedback.
• Provide technical guidance and price estimates to sales staff in response to custom order inquiries.
• Develop user manuals for print and web that include detailed how‑to, maintenance, troubleshooting and warranty information.
• Work with patent office, control agencies and other outside parties to protect intellectual property and ensure compliance with governmental regulations.

Requirements

• Circuit & PCB design and development. Lead prototyping, debugging, documentation and project management skill.
• Proficient in circuit simulation tools (e.g., PSPICE, LTSPICE), component selection and failure analysis.
• Experience in HV and ultra‑low power IoT battery design.
• Firmware development and familiar in serial communication, I2C, SPI and CAN.
