Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support technical solutions in the data lake as defined by Data Analysts and validated by Data Architects.
• Configure technical aspects of the data lake, including data ingestion and integration frameworks.
• Assist Data Analysts and Data Scientists in developing optimized data models, pipelines, and frameworks.
• Develop scalable architecture across all layers of the data lake.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
• Apply DevOps practices to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate across teams and regions with different roles.
• Recommend designs and experiment with new solutions for continuous improvement.
• Work under strong governance in a global and agile environment.
• Define processes, establish best practices, and mentor junior staff to build capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• 7 years of experience, including ETL/ELT workflow design, configuration, data mapping, extraction, transformation and loading, and writing high‑performing code.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Strong system knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks, with process orientation.
• Comfortable working remotely with minimal face‑to‑face time.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data governance and ABC framework metadata.
• Technical skill in SQL, Python, and Scala.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI.
