Job summary

A leading energy solutions provider in Miri is seeking a Senior Crewing Coordinator to oversee recruitment, manage crew contracts, and provide administrative support. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and has at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the offshore oil and gas sector. Good communication skills, knowledge of labour laws, and English proficiency are essential. Qualifications

  • Recruitment for FPSO Helang crew: advertising, sourcing, screening, conducting interviews, negotiations and onboarding.
  • Responsible for issuing contracts for crew under Yinson Lavender Operations Sdn Bhd.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Miri team.
  • Manage the process of crew mobilization and demobilization.

Senior Crewing Coordinator (Contract)
Crewing Matters
  • Recruitment for FPSO Helang crew: advertising, sourcing, screening, conducting interviews, negotiations and onboarding.
  • For crew hiring, work closely with the Head of Crewing, the OIM, and the supervisor on board to select the crew.
  • Follow up with selected local subcontractor on crew related matters (EPOMS / Amwry Energy).
  • Responsible for issuing contracts for crew under Yinson Lavender Operations Sdn Bhd (YLOSB).
  • Monthly verification of timesheet process, including crew expesnes claim and insurance update.
  • Manage the process of crew mobilization and demobilization
  • Handling vendor work permit application along with mobilization process.
  • Ensure crew obtained all valid documents for mobilization including but not limited to offshore medical report, STCW, flag etc.
  • Updating and maintaining crew management system.
  • Ensure crew and onshore staff obtained and maintain valid work permit.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on mobilization process and crew matters.
  • Support finance in providing inputs for crewing budget.
  • Verify and approve of expenses within limit of authority
  • Provide effective support to Head of Crewing with the implementation of succession and training plans.
  • Responsible for weekly / monthly reports to Head of Crewing on crew related matters
  • Supervise and guide crewing assistant on daily tasks
Administrative Matters
  • Provide comprehensive administrative suppor to the Miri team.
  • Responsible for complete travel management by liaising with designated travel agents for cost-effective tickets, hotel accomodation, meet and greet, visas, vaccinations, health requirements etc.
  • Organize and coodinate all guests visiting Miri base office in terms of obtaining work permit, immigration matters etc.
  • Ordering supplies, managing inventory and all IT related equipments
  • Assist operations manager in other relevant duties when needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in human resource management, business management or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in similar position, preferably in offshore oil and gas sector
  • Previous industrial relations experience is an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of local and international labour laws and Malaysia local content regulations
  • Good English skills, both oral and written
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
