Job summary

A dental supplies company in Negeri Sembilan is looking for a responsible individual to maintain pre-costing job listings, liaise with suppliers for quotations, and understand production processes. The ideal candidate will manage costings for both new and existing products, ensuring accuracy in response to any changes in materials or processes. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of product costing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update pre-costing job listings at any point in time.
• Build pre-costing based on requisition received.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations.
• Liaise with purchasing department and NPD.
• Build the costings based on assumption.
• Understand the production process for all products, including work in progress.
• Gather information and assess the processes and materials used in production.
• Build the costing based on the production.
• Update the costing of existing products if there is any change in materials or processes.

Responsibilities

• TO MAINTAIN AND UP TO DATE PRE-COSTING JOB LISTING AT ANY POINT OF TIME
• BUILDING PRE-COSTING BASED ON REQUSITION RECEIVED
• LIAISE WITH SUPPLIERS TO OBTAIN QUOTATION
• LIAISE WITH PURCHASING DEPARTMENT AND NPD
• BUILD THE COSTINGS BASED ON ASSUMPTION
• UNDERSTAND PRODUCTION PROCESS FOR ALL PRODUCTS, INCLUDING WORK IN PROGRESS
• GATHER INFORMATION AND ASSESS THE PROCESSES AND MATERIAL USED IN PRODUCTION
• BUILD THE COSTING BASED ON THE PRODUCTION
• UPDATE THE COSTING OF EXISTING PRODUCTS IF THERE IS ANY CHANGES ON MATERIAL OR PROCESSES
