Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancing Clerk to join our legal team at DIANA DAWSON & ASSOCIATES. In this full‑time position, you will be supporting our conveyancing practice, ensuring the seamless completion of property transactions. Based in our Petaling Jaya, Selangor office, you will be an essential member of our dynamic and growing firm.

What you'll be doing
  • Preparing and processing all necessary documentation for property sales, purchases, transfers, POT/POC, discharge of charge, receipt and reassignment, auction, loan and refinancing matters
  • Conducting thorough due diligence on property titles and documents
  • Liaising with clients, real estate agents, banks, land offices, JMB, and other stakeholders to facilitate the smooth progression of transactions
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records of all conveyancing matters
  • Providing administrative support to the conveyancing team as needed
  • Assisting with the preparation of contracts, deeds, and other legal instruments
  • Staying current with changes in conveyancing laws and regulations
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Conveyancing Clerk or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing laws, processes, and best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient in the use of legal software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • A team player with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
  • A commitment to providing exceptional client service and attention to detail
