Overview
We are looking for two experienced and highly capable Senior Content Creators to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who can transform ideas into high-performing, results-driven content—from concept development and scripting to execution and optimization—with a strong understanding of social media trends, audience psychology, and content performance. Salary: RM5,000 – RM7,500 (commensurate with experience and capability)
Responsibilities
- Plan, script, and execute short-form video content across multiple digital platforms.
- Own the end-to-end content lifecycle, including ideation, filming coordination, editing direction, and final quality control.
- Define content directions and contribute to the development of a consistent brand IP identity and long-term content matrix.
- Create content assets to support campaigns, promotions, and new initiatives.
- Performance-Driven Content: Produce high-CTR content, including advertising creatives, conversion-focused materials, and trend-based content.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics such as views, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Continuously optimize content strategies based on data insights and platform behavior.
- Apply platform-specific best practices to maximize reach and effectiveness.
- Platform & Trend Expertise: Stay up to date with trends, formats, and algorithm changes across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Identify, adapt, and localize trending topics, memes, and storytelling formats in a brand-aligned manner.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and media teams to ensure content aligns with overall business objectives.
- Proactively propose creative concepts that are both innovative and executable within timelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in content creation, scripting, or short-form video production.
- Strong understanding of content virality, traffic acquisition, and conversion logic.
- High sensitivity to youth culture, digital trends, memes, and storytelling pacing.
- Proven track record with successful content examples or a portfolio (mandatory).
- Creative, adaptable, and comfortable experimenting with new ideas and formats.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong execution and minimal supervision.
- Clear and structured thinking with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.
- Treats content as a brand asset and growth driver, not just a deliverable.
Bonus (Nice to Have, Not Mandatory)
- Familiarity with the online entertainment or iGaming content ecosystem.
- Experience working in MCNs, advertising agencies, livestreaming platforms, or gaming/gambling-related industries.
