Responsibilities
- Will be generally available on call, as needed, to provide support beyond normal working hours.
- To maintain 11 kV installations and related low voltage switchgears and standby generator sets.
- To coordinate maintenance of chilled water air-conditioning, sprinkler fire-fighting, audio-visual and other mechanical/electrical installations within the 12 storey and Homestead buildings include other related buildings occupied.
- To perform scheduled preventative maintenance work including checks and inspections of the overall electrical systems.
- Periodic checks on office facilities: lightings/wirings; lifts; fire alarm system; power generators, chillers; air-conditioners; security system; CCTV wiring system; sound system, telephone units; electrical appliances; etc.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports.
- Oversees the inventory on items such as bulbs; plugs; extension cords; tools; etc and recommendation to purchase these items.
- To set timers of all air-con units at the respective floors and ensures optimal usage of energy including Building Management Systems (BMS).
- To liaise closely with the appointed M & E Consultant.
- To lead and train all General Services and Administrative technicians/handymen.
- Sets up the AV system for functions / events and ensure preventative maintenance is carried out on all its equipment.
- Maintains files of specifications, catalogs and sufficient stock levels of supplies.
- Duplicates audio and video cassettes from master tape for distribution.
- Assists with technical aspects of the AV system.
Requirements
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- In-depth knowledge of sound, video, and lighting equipment include other related.
- Preferably Senior Technicians specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Building Maintenance) or equivalent.
- Able to work long hours, after working hours, weekends and public holidays.
- Good command of both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Good communication and leadership skills with every level of the organization.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
