• Willing to travel or relocate within Malaysia.

• Plan project activities in advance to prevent unnecessary delays.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Senior C&S Design Manager Engineer to join our Selangor team (Ara Damansara Office). You will be involved in structural design and site implementation, assist with project coordination, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Section Head in monitoring project progress and coordinating resources.
• Ensure projects are completed within timeline, quality, and budget targets.
• Handle C&S design works, including structural, earthworks, water supply, sewerage, and drainage.
• Prepare detailed designs using Prota, StaadPro, and AutoCAD.
• Manage timely submission of designs/drawings to relevant authorities.
• Prepare installation reports for the Project/Construction Manager.
• Plan project activities in advance to prevent unnecessary delays.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, Prota and StaadPro. Knowledge of Esteem, MTIS2, Java, and Struts will be an added advantage.
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English or Mandarin.
• Candidates with knowledge of Mandarin will have an added advantage (liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients).
• Minimum 5 years and above of relevant experience in civil & structural design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiar with local authority submission processes.
• Willing to travel or relocate within Malaysia.
