Senior Buyer / Sourcing Executive (Furniture & Home Living)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer / Sourcing Executive to join our team！
This role is responsible for purchasing, sourcing, vendor management, and end-to-end supply chain coordination, covering both local and overseas markets.
The ideal candidate must have strong industry knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage suppliers, logistics, and product flows efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Purchasing & Sourcing

Source, evaluate and select furniture & home living products from local and overseas suppliers.

Conduct price negotiation, MOQ discussion, cost comparison, margin planning and contract terms.

Perform market research, trend study and competitor analysis to ensure the right product assortment.

Attend overseas sourcing trips, trade fairs and factory visits to identify new suppliers and product opportunities.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality consistency and timely delivery.

Manage vendor performance: quality control, lead time, claims, defects and after-sales support.

Develop new supplier pipelines to support company growth and product diversification.

3. Supply Chain Coordination

Coordinate end-to-end procurement process including purchase order issuance, shipment booking, logistics, and customs clearance.

Work closely with warehouse & logistics teams on inbound scheduling and inventory planning.

Monitor shipment status and resolve delays, defects, or discrepancies.

4. Product & Data Management

Maintain accurate product information, landed cost calculations, SKU creation and pricing updates.

Review sales performance and provide recommendations for replenishment, discontinuation or product improvement.

Support marketing and retail teams with product data, samples, delivery timelines and promotional needs.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in furniture, home living, lifestyle or related industry (sourcing/buying/procurement).

Strong understanding of furniture materials, construction quality, pricing structures, and international sourcing markets.

Good negotiation skills with exposure to overseas suppliers.

Familiar with supply chain workflows: import procedures, HS codes, freight, MOQ and landed cost.

Strong analytical skills.

Language proficiency

Mandarin/Cantonese to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking clients.
