Senior Business Development Executive (Media Sales)

FG Media Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Malaysiakini Group, is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to drive growth in media sales. The ideal candidate is experienced across the full sales cycle, confident in building new client relationships, and skilled in maintaining existing partnerships. Strong negotiation abilities and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Media, Publishing, Advertising, PR, or Marketing & Communications are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Pitch, prepare, and present advertising proposals and campaigns
  • Conduct research and develop case studies for advertising content strategies
  • Oversee the execution and management of client advertising campaigns
  • Seek creative ways to generate digital advertising revenue & event partnership
  • Achieve monthly sales targets according to the Sales Compensation Plan
  • Collaborate with operations, content production, creative and event teams to enhance results and client satisfaction
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Media, Publishing, Advertising, PR, or Marketing & Communications
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
