Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Team in cost plan estimates.
  • Support Project Team in value engineering activities to achieve the design and cost optimisation in accordance with the project objectives.
  • Jointly formulate Procurement Strategy and Contract Implementation Strategy with Project Team that align with the company vision and project objectives.
  • Support the Project Team in budget preparation, budget monitoring and cashflow update.
  • Support the User Department in the sourcing, negotiation, and appointment of suppliers / consultants / contractors for Project Purchase including pre‑qualification, tender and award, whilst ensuring compliance with the Procurement Policy and Procurement SOP.
  • Manage Approved Vendor List, encompassing the screening and registration of prospective vendors (pre‑qualification) and vendor performance management.
  • Process progress payment claims, instruction approval for variation works and variation claims, whilst ensuring compliance with the Contract Management SOP.
  • Support Project Team in processing of extension of time claims, whilst ensuring compliance with the Contract Management SOP.
  • Process final account.
  • Attend to contractual correspondences.
  • Prepare contract management tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain all documents pertaining to procurement and contract management activities.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in document management in a property development or consulting firm.
  • Knowledge and working experience in relevant procurement and contract management and handling procurement process in compliance with the governance structure and procurement best practice is essential.
  • Possess contract knowledge.
  • Good computer literacy.
